Do you sometimes feel lost or confused in yoga class? Maybe you avoid going to a group class because you think you’re not flexible enough or not good enough. Or, maybe you love yoga and want to learn everything you can about yoga. You are not alone! Wherever you are on the spectrum, I invite you to join me for the next 4 weeks to dive into the basics of alignment.
Having a better understanding of proper alignment will help you feel more comfortable and confident going into any yoga class. This is a great opportunity for you get all of your yoga questions answered. For those of you looking to advance your practice, this is a great chance to brush up on basic alignment principles that are also true for more challenging postures, like handstand and headstand.
This 8-part workshop series will help you get the most out of your practice. By understanding the fundamental elements of alignment in the physical postures you will be able to maximize the benefits of each class, by increasing your strength, flexibility, and focus in less time, plus you will reduce your risk of future injury. You will learn the proper alignment for common yoga postures, like downward facing dog, and how to adjust postures to feel better for your unique body.
